I figured I would be scoring a low 60 on the assessment based on how I was doing with the questions. A few tips I can recommend: take notes using UWORLD use the pictures as flashcards write rationales for ALL answers write or wrong - can help you with another question take the questions you got wrong and do them again - a few days later READ ALL RATIONALES I took my assessment 3 days before the NCLEX. My performance was 56% and I did just shy of 1500 questions. The 74% I attribute to really good guessing btw. After that my scores increased and ranged from 57% - 74%. I remembered that I learn best when I write and read the rationales and so I went back to what helped me through nursing school. I took a few questions here and there but wasn't invested due to trying to graduate and my senior practicum. I started really using UWORLD before I graduated in September. Uworld was FAR EASIER than the exam edited by on Alas, I didn't and 2 weeks later, received my license number! So honestly, the exam comes down to nursing judgement and ability to critical think. I left the exam site disheartened convinced I failed. Perhaps its because I sat for the entire 265 questions and i was tiresome come 150, but I thought it was really difficult. Uworld in my opinion, was a lot easier than the exam. I was shocked because I clearly did well on the study site, but come the exam, I was bombarded with a lot of content I never heard of. Therefore, a lot of content i studied on Uworld wasn't too helpful. UWorld was good as far as seeing a similar formatting on the exam and helping you sharpen your elimination skills.but id say 75% of my exam was judgement and critical thinking. I received maybe around 35 SATA, 20 pharm, a few OBGYN, (no peds, maybe 5 mental health), A LOT of priority and ECG readings, and honestly, a LOT of questions I never heard of. Suffice to say, my entire exam was based on those two topics. I took the exam and did the entire 265 questions! My weakest area was pharmacology and EKG. Sometimes I scored 100's, occasional 80, mostly 60-70's though. I was scoring around 60-70% on my assessments (granted, my "assessments" were 30 questions at a time AT MOST because thats how I felt I retained the information better, and wasn't overwhelmed). I took this assessment 5 days before my exam I never bothered to take assessment 2 because I was confident at this point. Unused: 80 questions My assessment 1: I scored 55%, was borderline chance of passing, and to be honest, that's because I took the exam at 11pm after studying the whole day and thought I had enough energy to score well-real dumb on my part lol. I was studying for a solid two months, but perhaps sat down and really hammered in the information for 1.5 months (Im talking 10 hour days at a time, maybe more). My overall performance score is in the 72nd percentile-I got 60% of the test bank questions correct. YOU CAN & WILL PASS !!! ^ From a previous post but thought it might help. Most will say I over did it, in my opinion, no such thing. The NCLEX will be a breeze if you put in the work through UWorld. MAJOR point: YOU KNOW ALL THIS! Be 1000% Confident that you will PASS! The nursing program + science courses have covered each of the topics/areas/terms. Look into CAT for how the test analyzises are you progress. EVERY persons NCLEX experience will vary and is very random in regards to how you are tested. The Test Analysis results will show you what areas are more heavily focused on, as shown by the sections that have more questions. Your test taking abilites will drastically improve with both SATA & MC questions. Use the performance data to see what subject matter you need to improve on and spend time doing those and testing on the missed categories. 1 month 2-Weeks Prior to NCLEX Exam, took a 75 question Practice test each morning - 75 question Mixed Question Block : End of January Start: 61.3% -to- 2x days prior to Exam: 88% * Average of all 75 quesiton practice tests: 72.81% Assessment 1: 61% Very High Assesment 2: 72% Very High NCLEX 82-85 questions PASS As many have posted in previous threads, the rationales are key - read & learn both right and wrong. Here are the tools you’ll need to build a pocket door We’re gonna give it a shot! To do this we need to officially divide the house so that both sides can be locked. We have friends who rent their homes or rooms on for big events in Austin. While most people want to open their house up, we stuck a pocket door smack dab in in the middle! Why build a pocket door? With one bedroom, one bathroom, and a living room on one side and 2 bedrooms, one bathroom, a living room, and kitchen on the other side. So, the house naturally divides itself in almost half. The past owners might have used the second living room as a dining room. It just so happens that our house has 2 front doors and what looks like 2 living rooms. It’s only 1,900 square feet, but this is by far the most space we’ve had in our adult life. Let me start at the beginning, our new house is much larger than anywhere else we’ve ever lived. I talked about the pocket door in this post about our living room finally looking like a living room 2 1/2 months after we moved in! It was the very first DIY project we did in the new house. Upon looking out to see what was going on, there was Manuel with a fly rod in hand about 90 ft away from this group of children casting away and keeping the line just inches from their grasp. Last year after a another successful and long day of fishing I was relaxing with the well derseved refreshment upstairs when I heard what sounded like a lot of young children laughing, giggling and carrying on out in the street. He was such a proud man and loved to talk about his Mayan heritage. I did however get to enjoy his wisdom and humor in the evenings at the outdoor tables in front of the lodge. There is a wonderful photo album at the lodge that contains many pictures of the man and his talents. Although I never got to fish with Manuel I was assured all of the story's were true. I'm going down for my third consecutive trip next week. He had an uncanny knack for sensing when the clients confidence or focus started to wane, and rather than yelling or forcing the issue, he would pick up and move and change the program to get everyone back on track.Īhhhh- Manuel, Rest In Peace my friend. It was almost like he willed things to happen. No matter what the conditions were, or how tough the fishing was, Manuel kept you alert and CERTAIN that there was going to be a tailing permit just around the next point, and more often then not, there was. He often had a simple yet shockingly profound responds of "its OK" to bad conditions. I personally learned so much from Manuel about keeping a positive attitude. Manuel had the formula dialed in, and most first time anglers there, our staff members included, became life long converts. That can be difficult to achieve on single day local trout trips, let alone on week long trips where travel, food, weather, and language can all create issues. As guides and anglers, we appreciate the importance of having a positive outcome for time time anglers on any trip. Hundreds of first time flats anglers travel there each year because it is relatively affordable and offers a huge variety of species to experience. Ascension Bay is one of the most popular flats fly fishing destinations in the world. Manuel probably never realized what a significant impact he made in the fly fishing industry. I guess, if I had a Wacom tablet or something, it'd be easier, but those things ain't cheap. TerraGen, all sorts of tools to create and import heightmaps into NWN2 for building modules, but creating any of the details just wore me down - especially with just having a mouse. They look great and hills are smooth, rather than terraced dirt faces, but it is really hard to do. But, like you said, creating maps in NWN2 is a pain. NWN2, I was told, had been deliberately coded to facilitate persistent world development and was far friendlier to manage in that role. This is a really cumbersome method - it can be done, but it's simply a major headache to control and organize, let alone the job of ensuring every-little-thing is indexed and managed. Then, in the next session, run a whole new module as in place of the one in action, but script in the database tables to modify the new launch to replicate the old and add in any new content as needed. Then, as the game is played, do automatic updates, saving the items in a database. The method that seems best to create a persistent world - in NWN1 - that I've read about is to give every single item and character in the game a database identifier. There's no way to modify a module, once it's started. But, the problem is in adding new content once the modules have been launched. I already have Judge's Guild's Citystate of the Invincible Overlord mapped out as well as Tegel Manor. But I never got into any of that.Thanx for the links, but I think those - or, ones like them - were what I was using long ago when I first got NWN1. I think a lot of the greatness of NWN was its potential for user-created content, with modular scenario creation, multiplayer, server hosting, and the ability to DM, like something in between a graphical text MUD and an online D&D session. There's much more content than the main campaign though: official expansion packs, premium content modules, tons of user-created content. My main reason for playing a rogue was so I could disarm traps myself, get a different henchman, and not have to listen to Tommy's prattle. Tommy "What Can Tommy Do For Ya, Eh?" Undergallows and Lady Aribeth had really annoying voices. It wasn't short, but I don't think it fully realised its potential, and the climax wasn't climactic enough for me. Ok writing, although the original campaign had quite a few D&D cliches, and I was still expecting something more when it ended. So-so characters - definitely not a strong point, especially compared to Baldur's Gate and Planescape: Torment. Once I got over my misplaced expectations, NWN was ok. Instead I got a 3d game that looked like Runescape, which was a shock that made it hard ro get into. When I played it all I knew about it was the name, and I was expecting the next Baldur's Gate: another Infinity Engine game with beautiful hand-painted backgrounds and isometric charm. They fixed a lot of the problems with how bad it was when it was new, but i never felt the connection to it like I did with the first one. The original IGN vault on which all the original custom content was hosted was taken down a year or two ago, but a few dedicated individuals actually archived all the content and are now hosting it on a new vault! That says a bit how dedicated people are to a now 13 year old game and modding scene. And the best part yet, it's pretty easy to learn how to use the creation kit yourself, and there's TONS of player-made content you can add into a campaign of your own design! I adore TES games as well, which are also known for their big modding and customization scenes, but most of the player-created content for those games seems very small in scope compared to what people were capable of with NWN. Thousands upon thousands of wholly-original player-made campaigns, and more than a few of them were on par with the quality of the official campaigns, if not better. The creation kit that came with that game was legendary. If you like RPGs and you don't care about having the fanciest graphics, you're really doing yourself a disservice by not checking the game out. One of my all-time favorites, and it was what turned me on to D&D when I played it when it was new as a teenager. The first NWN is a positively fantastic game, and (imo of course) the last classic Bioware title. If you were born before 2000 or just watched a lot of TV during your teenage years, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen need no introduction. The Olsen twins began acting when they were just six months old. Here's a look back at the Olsen twins' careers and what their lives look like now. So what else have the elusive duo been up to? They appeared on the red carpet together for the first time last year, and Eisner, an artist from California, has only shared one photo of his partner - *that* iconic snap where, for reasons unknown, she carried a machete while on a hike.Įisner's mother Lisa is a well-known fashion photographer and jewellery designer, so the family is connected to the fashion world, like the famous twins.īut that's about all we know - Olsen is extremely private and isn't on social media. Olsen, 36, has been dating Eisner, 33, since 2017. In the meantime, we'll just daydream about how chic the whole affair was. The best we can hope for is some wedding pics from the couple's celebrity friends, but it was almost certainly an unplugged event for obvious reasons. There were around 50 people in attendance and the celebrations supposedly "went late".Īs for Olsen's dress, we could wildly speculate she wore a custom design from her own high-end label The Row or something fabulously vintage and couture, but we're unlikely to get any pictorial evidence.
